Strawberry Field gates re-open to the delight of Beatles fans worldwide

Strawberry Field, the Salvation Army children’s home in Liverpool that inspired John Lennon to write the Beatles classic “Strawberry Fields Forever,” has reopened its doors to tourists for the first time in decades. In addition to it being a worldwide tourist destination, the Salvation Army has turned the location into a hub to help young adults with learning disabilities, the Steps To Work program.
